A Celebration of UDAEF Galas - Past, Present, and Future, and the Music & Memories That Made Us!
The Annual UDAEF Gala is an immersive experience - celebrating the innovation, drive, and immense talent that the music programs in Upper Darby have to offer. This multi-generational musical showcase provides a space for instrumentalists and vocalists alike to share what they've learned in the robust educational programming of the Upper Darby schools. The event also raises funds to provide school field trips, literacy initiatives, scholarships, instruments, and other educational opportunities to students who might not otherwise be able to participate.
This year, while we're unable to hold an in-person Gala safely, we reflect on the benefits of past Galas and the money raised that has gone right back to the students and teachers of our wonderful community. We also look to the future with hope that these Galas, these live performances, and these educational opportunities can continue to not only exist, but to thrive.
The month of March is "Music in the Schools Month," which seems like a great time to celebrate the UDAEF Galas - past, present, and future - and raise the funds needed to keep the music alive in Upper Darby!
Join us as we share memories and footage from past Gala events, and celebrate what the Upper Darby Arts & Education Foundation is doing and will continue to do to provide innovative educational opportunities to our students.
